American Legion Riders Co-Sponsoring the “Back the Badge” Ride on Saturday September 17th

The American Legion Riders of Post 111 in Dallas & Pirate Printing in Hiram are co-sponsoring the 2016 "Back the Badge" Ride on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit law enforcement in Paulding County – the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the Hiram Police Department and the City of Dallas Police Department.
Registration begins at 11:00 AM at the Paulding County Citizen Center, 54 Industrial Way N., Dallas, GA 30132. The registration fee is $20 per bike. Kick Stands Up at 1:00 PM.
The ride will end at the American Legion Post 111, at 2587 Scoggins Road, in Dallas between 2 and 3 PM, where there will be a family fun day, including demonstrations, a DJ, band, dunking booth and games for the kids. Raffles, a 50/50, auctions as well as lunch plates will be available.

The American Legion Riders are a national program of the American Legion. They promote the programs and goals of the American Legion in their community, state and nation. The organization is known for their charitable work which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for veterans, service members and their families, veterans’ homes, children, schools, hospitals and members of local communities. The American Legion Riders are said to be the most visible group of the American Legion. They are often seen by the public assisting at parades, funerals, memorial ceremonies and services, as well as on rides to honor fallen military members or to raise funds for those in need. Further, they provide escorts to departing or returning military units.
