Easter Bunny to Kick Off 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at American Legion

Bunny Flag2The children of Paulding County are cordially invited to visit with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 24th at the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by American Legion Post 111 on 2587 Scoggins Road in Dallas.
Starting at 1:00 PM light snacks and refreshments will be provided by members of the American Legion family, consisting of Legionnaires, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 111, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 111 and the American Legion Riders. Members from all four groups have been hard at work getting the Post ready for the Egg Hunt, including stuffing over 4,000 eggs for the children!
Members of the Entertainment Committee of Post 111 have been in contact with the Easter Bunny and they report that he is very much looking forward to visiting with our local children. He will arrive at Post 111 at approximately 2:00 PM just before the start of the first Easter Egg hunt. The egg hunt be split into three groups consisting of children ages 0 to 3, followed by those ages 4 to 7 and lastly, ages 8 and up. All local children, especially special needs children, are welcome to attend.
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos in the Post Bingo Hall after each hunt. Each child will be presented with a free photo, courtesy of Brett Reece, owner of Pro Sound AV, who will be on site taking professional photographs of each child visiting with the Easter Bunny.
Cards will also be available for the children to write notes to military members. The cards will be sent to service personnel stationed overseas.
