CareLink community health and resource center, providing low-cost, high-quality medical care and support resources, in its third year now, will seek to expand its staffing to add behavioral counseling to the services available at the Dallas clinic.

The city of Dallas, Georgia has officially named Shannon Gordon the Main Street Manager. The Main Street Manager position is one of the several recent positions that has been added to the Business Development office to better serve the community and business owners in The city of Dallas.

Roger was presented with the coin due to his ingenious invention of Chad’s Bracket. The GrandMaster was familiar with the wagon because of his own family member who used a wagon at CHOA.

The Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative (EMC) Foundation Board awarded Impact Grants to 34 charitable organizations within the cooperative’s seven-county service territory totaling $116,383 in donation funds.

On August 19, 2022, Major Tony Henderson officially retired from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Thankfully, due to loosening COVID-19 restrictions, an official retirement celebration was held at the Sheriff’s Office with Major Henderson’s family, friends, and co-workers present.

Two Paulding County Deputies were awarded the second highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Deputy. Corporal Jamie Winkles and Deputy Joshua Bishop were presented with the Medal of Merit by Sheriff Gary Gulledge at the beginning of the meeting for the heroic acts they performed during a call on June 24, 2022.
