Vista Lake Subdivision Homicide Arrest Made

(Paulding County, GA) On Wednesday August 30, 2017 at approximately 6:15 PM Detectives with the Dallas Police Department took Lowe Deontae Payne (B/M, 23 YOA) into custody without incident. Payne turned himself into Detectives at the Dallas Police Department reference charges that were taken against him in regards to the murder that took place in the Vista Lake Subdivision earlier this week.
Payne was arrested on warrants that the Dallas Police Department secured in reference to the homicide that took place on Monday August 28, 2017 at the amenities area of the Vista Lake Subdivision in Dallas, GA (Paulding County). During that incident, Carldrake Finister (B/M, 20 YOA) was fatally shot and killed as the result of some type of dispute between the two.
Payne is currently being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond and has been charged with the following offenses by the Dallas Police Department:

1. Felony Murder (F) 1 count
2. Aggravated Assault (F) 1 count
