Lieutenant Dee Morris Awarded Commissioner’s Public Safety Award

(Paulding County, GA) On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, Lieutenant Dee Morris of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award. Lieutenant Morris was awarded the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award for her exemplary service to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Lieutenant Morris has been employed with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office since March 13, 1990.
In her over 28 year career with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Morris has had a special place in her heart for the children of Paulding County. Being one of the first D.A.R.E. instructors, Lieutenant Morris has worked the majority of her career with the youth of Paulding County. Sheriff Gulledge remarked, “Lieutenant Morris really cares for the children in this county. She has a busy and important job overseeing our Youth Services Division and making sure all of the schools in Paulding County remain a safe place for our children to learn.”
Lieutenant Morris was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Commissioners along with a “Dinner for Two” Gift Card from Texas Roadhouse. On hand to present the award was: Standing First Row (L-R): Colonel Chad Hunton, Major Ava Davis, Major Clint Morris, Lieutenant Dee Morris, and Sheriff Gary Gulledge.
