award600Last month the National Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals recognized a team of Paulding County employees and a Master Gardener Extension Volunteers with the Silver Award for outstanding performance in the Television category for their work to produce “The Blair Twig Project.” The award was recently presented at a Board of Commissioners’ Work Session, by Paulding County Extension Coordinator, Mary Carol Sheffield, to the Paulding County Media Productions Communications Coordinator, Jody Martin and her colleague Jeff Harkins along with Master Gardener Extension Volunteers Betty Cosgrove, Earl Cosgrove, and Bob Banks. Jody and Jeff have organized filming of many educational productions aimed at helping Paulding citizens increase their soil and water conservation habits. Recently they organized the filming of Rivers Alive which you can see on the Paulding County Channel 23’s YouTube page. Jody and Jeff’s work is exceptional and Paulding County Channel 23 is a great communication tool for reaching Paulding citizens. The National Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals and Paulding County Extension are proud to recognize this team for their efforts.
