Cops Kids 400 2015b

(L-R) Brenda White, Sheriff Gary Gulledge, and Missy Cusack

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids program recently received several donations from local businesses and charities. On December 9, 2015 Chattahoochee Technical College and C&C Pharmacy donated to the Cops for Kids program. The money they donated came directly from donations, fund raisers, and revenues that they collected throughout the year.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids program began in 1998 and took 25 kids shopping. Last year, as a result of generous donations from local businesses, citizens, and charities; the Sheriff’s Office was able to take over 200 children shopping. Sheriff Gary Gulledge stated, “Without the support of organizations like Chattahoochee Technical College and C&C Pharmacy, the Cops for Kids program would likely have ended many years ago. I want to thank each and every one of the businesses, citizens, and charities that donate money to the Cops for Kids program each year”.

The Cops for Kids event will take place Saturday December 12, 2015 at 7:00 am at the Wal-Mart on Marietta Highway (3615 Marietta Highway Dallas, GA 30157). If you would like more information, or would like to find out how to donate to Cops for Kids, please contact Lieutenant Tracy Parker at (770) 443-3016.
