Kiwanis Club of Paulding County Flips Over Our Flapjack Fundraiser
[Dallas, GA November 2016] – The Kiwanis Club of Paulding County with the help of the Kennesaw State University Paulding Circle K, the Kiwanis club of college students, greeted, served and cleaned up for our Flapjack Fundraiser on November 5th at the Applebee's in Hiram. With almost 200 people from the community of Paulding, they ate, drank and, most importantly contributed to our club for a new garden and greenhouse for the students of Union Elementary in Temple.
This is just one example of a local community of the power of Kiwanis. Kiwanis members stage nearly 150,000 service projects, devote more than 6 million hours of service and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. Add it all up, and that’s more than 18 million hours of service every year!
Kiwanis Club of Paulding County meets on the third Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, 445 Jimmy Campbell Parkway, Dallas. Everyone is invited. For information, call Herb Silverman at 678-232-0009.
