Easter Bunny to Kick Off 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at American Legion

EasterFlagThe children of Paulding County are cordially invited to visit with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 13th at the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by American Legion Post 111 on 2587 Scoggins Road in Dallas.
Members of the American Legion family, consisting of the Legionnaires, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 111, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 111 and the American Legion Riders have been working very hard this past month getting the Post ready for the Egg Hunt, including stuffing over 5,000 eggs for the children!
The public is welcome to arrive at the Post between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. We will have membership information as well as light refreshments available during this time. There will be a station for the children and adults to write notes to military members. The cards will be sent to several Legionnaires from Post 111 who currently are deployed overseas.
Members of the Entertainment Committee of Post 111 have been in contact with the Easter Bunny and they report that he is very much looking forward to visiting with our local children. He will arrive at Post 111 at approximately 2:00 PM just before the start of the first Easter Egg hunt.
The egg hunts will be split into three groups consisting of children ages 0 to 3, followed by those ages 4 to 7 and lastly, ages 8 and up. All local children, especially special needs children, are welcome to attend.
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos in the Post Bingo Hall after each hunt until approximately 4:00 PM. Each family will be presented with a free photo, courtesy of Brett Reece, owner of Pro Sound AV, who will be on site taking professional photographs of each child visiting with the Easter Bunny.
Contact Commander Bill Fleisch at the American Legion at (770)445-2759 if there are any questions.
