Mr. James “Jim” Stockton, a United States Marine Veteran and Iwo Jima survivor, with thirty years of service to our country, was honored at the American Legion Post 111 on Scoggins Road in Dallas on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Mr. Stockton was surprised with a special escort from his home by the American Legion Riders to a meal prepared by Legionnaires, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion. Family, friends and local officials were in attendance. Mr. Stockton was then presented with a plaque recognizing his contributions to the United States, the American Legion and the community.Stockton 800
