Make 2017 “Your Year,” at New Georgia Library

With the beginning of 2017, now is a great time to start developing new habits and hobbies for both yourself and your child! Did you know that the library is a great, one-stop shop for all the information you’ll need to start your year off right? Whether your resolution includes becoming healthier or just learning something new, we’ve got books and programs to help you out! If 2017 is going to be “your year,” come in and visit our adult non-fiction section for healthy cookbooks, books on exercise, and also books on travel! You’ll also get the chance to join in on our 100% free events where you can pick up a new hobby or learn to treat your body better!
The New Georgia Library offers meetings with certified health coach, Alicia Carabello (Wednesday, January 18th at 11 AM), crochet classes (Tuesday, January 10th at 10 AM, and Thursday, January 26th at 2 PM), and even the chance for a one-on-one introduction to computers (Monday, January 30th at 3).
For more information about these awesome opportunities, or to get help finding the perfect book to jump start your year, please visit us at 94 Ridge Road in Dallas (Monday-Thursday 10-7, Friday and Saturday 9-5, closed Sundays). You can also find us online at Facebook.com/NewGeorgiaLibrary or our regional website at WGRL.net. You can also reach us by phone at 770-459-8163. Remember, “Having fun isn’t hard, when you’ve got a library card.”NG 2017 767
