Paulding Fine Arts Week of Feb 12, 2018 - Student Art Show Results.

The Paulding Fine Arts Association is proud to announce the winners of the 2018, 31st Annual Student Art Show. A very special thank you to our sponsors this year, Walmart of Woodstock and Paulding Trophy Shop for their generous support of our annual event. We would also like to thank all the parents and teachers who encouraged these young artists to enter this year's Student Art Show. We have so many talented young artists in our county and it's a joy to see their work in one arena. During the month of March the student's work that won a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Honorable Mention award will hang in our Courtroom Gallery at the Historic Courthouse Gallery & Studios, located on the 2nd floor of the OLD Paulding Courthouse building located at 11 Courthouse Square, Dallas GA 30132. This year we had 145 entries which represent 13 Elementary Schools, 6 Middle Schools, and all 5 High Schools, we had a total of 14 Private and Home School students enter as well. Baggett Elementary was the most represented school with 61 entries! Baggett art teacher, Iia Owens-Williamson was Baggett's Teacher of the Year in 2017! She loves her students and encourages them to excel in their art. Austin Middle had 6 entries, and Hiram High submitted 11. Our judges this year were Vanita Keswanti and Taylor Aubry, and they certainly had quite a task determining the place winners. Without further ado, here are the place winner by age group.
