Paulding County Patriots Baseball Team: Greyson Practice

GreysonPractice300The Paulding County Patriots Baseball Team had been discussing ways to serve the community. One of their themes this year is brotherhood and family. So the coaches decided to ask Greyson Dodd to come out to practice and throw out the first pitch of the game for them. When Greyson came out he taught this team and coaches so much more than they could have imagined.

  • Having Greyson at practice was a moment we will always appreciate. He was great to be around and reminds us who we do things for, day in and day out. - Parker Whittaker
  • Having Greyson at practice with us was an eye opener about how amazing God is and how his blessings keep good people in the world like him. I know the team and I will always remember his attitude, his diligence, and his love for baseball. - Collin Bodnar

Brad wood introduced our team and myself to Greyson. He knew him through church and mutual friends. Grayson truly impacted our team. His smile was priceless. He showed us how to appreciate being out on the baseball field. There is no doubt Grayson thoroughly enjoyed being on the field with us and seeing the guys and interacting with them. Here is the thing, though Greyson has been much much more of a blessing to our team and me, more so than we could have ever been for him. I hope he’s is able to remember spending some time with us because we will definitely forever remember spending time with him. I would like to thank Assistant Coach Brad Wood for introducing Greyson to us and for setting up the practice and first pitch. I also would like to thank the Dodd family for allowing us to spend time with Greyson. Most of all I’d like to thank Grayson for showing us how to smile and love being on the baseball field.
