Hiram Workout Anytime Gives Back to Local Veterans and First Responders This Month

POW MIA FlagIn light of Memorial Day, Workout Anytime Hiram is holding a “Raise the Flag” event on Thursday, May 3 in honor of local veterans, active military members, first responders and emergency personnel.
Inspired by the gym’s general manager AJ Miles, who is a veteran of the U.S. Army, Workout Anytime Hiram owner Matt Marks wanted to show the gym’s support in accordance with its partnership with the organization Lift For The 22. In recognition of the staggering statistic that 22 veterans commit suicide daily, Lift For The 22 is a military support network designed to provide fitness memberships to help veterans suffering from transitional depression and anxiety. Workout Anytime’s 150 locations donate 22 memberships per year to local veterans.
The gym will also be supporting local Paulding County first responders and emergency personnel this year by donating money to Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, Inc. (PPSA) through every membership purchased until the end of 2018.
