Stacey Abrams Visits Hiram with Huge Turnout!

It was an exciting Friday afternoon in Hiram October 19th when Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams "We Are Georgia" bus tour came by! With over 150 local residents in attendance, this was deemed an awesome turnout by the County Democratic Party Executive Committee. Abrams spoke about Medicaid expansion, criminal justice reform, investing in our small localized economies, and her plans to help every Georgian Thrive. Joining Abrams speaking at the event were Attorney General candidate Charlie Bailey and Janice Laws for Insurance Commissioner. Paulding resident Andrea Baerwalde said after the meet and greet "It was so energizing to see so many people in Paulding come out to meet such an inspiring Democratic Candidate for Governor in our state!" Also in attendance were local Democratic hopefuls Alison Feliciano and Ralph Meers for State House; as well as Pamela Belanger for School board.
