Pvt Jaimie Lupoe Graduates United States Marine Corps Boot Camp

Pvt Jaimie Lupoe, 19, of Powder Springs graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on March 1, 2019. Pvt Lupoe successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 76 recruits in Training Platoon 4006. Following ten days home on leave she will report to Camp LeJeune for one month at Military Combat Training then Military Occupation Specialty school. At this time Pvt Lupoe has not been assigned her Permanent Duty Station. Pvt Lupoe received local support from Paulding's own School Board Member John Dean (Retired Sergeant Major) and Retired Major General John Croley. Pvt Lupoe was further supported by other Paulding Marines, Chairman Dave Carmichael, Fred Anderson, and Ottis Bone on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
