Paulding Deputies Make Drug/Gun Arrest at Top of the Ridge

Paulding County, GA On March 10, 2019, Paulding Deputies performed a traffic stop at the Top of the Ridge gas station which is located at the corner of Ridge Road and Cohran Store Road. As a result of the traffic stop, which was for the vehicle having no tag, they discovered a large amount of illegal narcotics and a gun. Agents from the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force assisted with the case and the following individuals were arrested:

1. Cedric Dornell Arnold (B/M, 17 YOA)
2. Keith Farrai Brannon III (B/M, 20YOA)
3. Maurielle Jevar Williams (B/M, 18 YOA)
4. Michael Anthony Bannister (B/M, 18 YOA)
5. Juvenile Male (B/M, 16 YOA)

All of the aforementioned individuals were charged with the below-listed offenses. It must be noted that the acronym VGCSA stands for “Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.”

• -VGCSA Possession of Marijuana (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of THC Vape Pens (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of Schedule I LSD Acid Strips (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of Schedule I Psilocybin Mushrooms (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of Schedule II Roxicodone (F)
• -VGCSA Possession of Methamphetamine (F)
• -Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (F)
