Shooting Investigation on Lakemoore Court

(Paulding County, GA) On May 13, 2019, at approximately 9:20 PM the residents at 49 Lakemoore Court Douglasville, Georgia (Paulding County) called Paulding E- 911 reference a shooting that had occurred at the residence. Paulding Deputies responded to the scene and found that the street in front of the home was littered with shell casings and the home had been shot a multitude of times.
According to Detectives, the residents initially thought someone was shooting fireworks outside of the home until they started seeing bullets flying through the walls. As a result of the shooting, one male received a non-life threating gunshot wound to the torso. At this time, Detectives do not have a suspect description, vehicle description, or motive as to why this residence was targeted.
