After experiencing continuous, growing interest in the program, Chattahoochee Technical College has relocated its Registered Nursing program from the Austell Campus to the Paulding Campus. On Friday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the college will host an open house of the new program facilities.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to move to a larger location and to serve a greater number of students,” Ron Webb, Dean of Health Sciences, said. “We think offering this program will be well received in Paulding.”
While at Austell – the smallest CTC campus in terms of physical size – the program wasn’t able to grow. The new facilities at Paulding are located at the B building, which offers dedicated classrooms, a computer lab, nursing lab, and a simulation lab.
“Everyone was very happy to move,” Executive Vice President Trina Boteler said. “It’s a beautiful campus, there is more room to work, and it’s a great program overall. The students and staff are very excited.”
The Paulding Campus is located about 30 minutes from the Austell Campus. For more information on Chattahoochee Technical College, visit www.ChattahoocheeTech.edu or call 770-528-4545.chatt nurse
