Magistrate Clerk Linda Taylor Retires

linda 1Paulding County Magistrate Clerk Linda Taylor retired this week, after 40 years of service with Paulding County. Linda was honored at the Paulding County BOC meeting for her service and presented with a plaque by Chairman David Carmichael.
Chief Magistrate Judge Martin Valbuena spoke at the meeting and said that Linda will be missed both professionally and personally. Linda has been the clerk of magistrate court since early in my tenure as chief magistrate, and she has been an invaluable asset to our court. She has worked hard the last few years to make sure that she was leaving magistrate court in the best place possible, and thanks to her, we are in a great place going forward. We will strive to honor her by continuing the high level of service that she has brought to magistrate court over the last 15 years.
Court Administrator Alyson Briant said “We would like to wish Linda a very happy retirement; she has most certainly earned it. We would also like to thank her for her dedication and service to the citizens of Paulding County for the last 40 years.”linda2
