Zachary Williamson Memorial Scholarship 2020

Congratulations to Jamiah Mott who was awarded the 10th annual Zachary Williamson Memorial Scholarship. Jamiah graduated this year from North Paulding High Schools Class of 2020 in Paulding County, GA.
The Zachary Williamson Memorial Scholarship Fund was developed to honor the memory of Zachary Williamson whose life was ended August 14, 2010 when he was killed in a car accident off of Old Cartersville Road in Dallas, GA. Zach was on the NPHS football and wrestling teams and his love for sports and his fellow classmates are the reason his parents Mark and René Williamson established the scholarship fund. Each year, in memory of Zach, a student-athlete at NPHS is recognized with a $1000.00 scholarship to honor the students’ commitment to outstanding character, excellence in the classroom, above-average morals and dedication to their sport.
Jamiah is a graduate with an impeccable character who gives her all to everything she does. In our meeting with Jamiah and her parents, we talked of many of Zach’s habits and characteristics and her Mother and Father commented that is exactly our daughter! Zach would be so proud of Jamiah and her commitment to working hard and loving people. Jamiah will be attending Young Harris in the fall pursuing a degree in business.
It is with great honor we award this scholarship to Jamiah for 2020. We wish Jamiah much success as she begins this new chapter of her life! Stay safe Jamiah and have an amazing year!
