The 45th Annual Arts Festival at Rose Lawn presented $1,000 in prizes to seven Juried Artists on September 24, 2020. Cartersville, Georgia. – Seven juried artists were honored at Saturday’s 45th Annual Arts Festival in Cartersville, Georgia. The artists hailing from points far and near were honored in Fine Arts and Heritage Crafts. Taking home Best in Show honors was Emme Worthy McAllister of Dallas, GA who has crafted her Ponderosa Potter for the past 10 years. Though winning numerous awards at other shows, this was McAllister’s first time to exhibit at Rose Lawn and the win came as a complete surprise. “I was honestly shocked and truly honored to be selected for Best in Show,” said McAllister, an art teacher at Paulding County High School. “I [saw] so many amazing potters, painters, and crafters at Rose Lawn. The show is definitely one you would attend to purchase high-quality art that is still affordable,” concluded McAllister. Congratulations Emme!
