Paulding County Farm Bureau awards the Dr Jim Goodman Memorial Scholarship
Every year Paulding County Farm Bureau awards scholarships to deserving Paulding County Seniors in Memory of Dr Jim Goodman past president of Paulding County Farm Bureau and county dentist. Dr Goodman believed education was one of the most important tools a person could obtain and his widow, Ms. Nora Goodman established the Dr Jim Goodman Memorial Scholarship in his honor.
This year’s recipients are:
- Chloe Knox -PCHS; Chloe is the daughter of Chris and Angela Knox. She has been accepted to University of West Georgia and plans to major in Biology. She plans to then attend Mercer University pharmacy school and become a pharmacist.
- Baylee May-PCHS; Baylee is the daughter of Joseph and Heather May. She has been accepted to the University of Georgia and plans to major in Animal Health on a pre-vet path. In the future she plans to become a large animal vet.
Please join us in congratulating these two young ladies as well as the hundreds of students graduating from the schools in Paulding County. The Dr Jim Goodman Memorial Scholarship is available to all up-coming Seniors and will open for applicants in the Fall of 2021.
