Tiny House Challenge for 4th graders

The Paulding Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee and Croft & Associates and Ansley Atlanta sponsored a Tiny House Challenge for 4th graders throughout the Paulding County School District. Every student who participated was allowed to win a $25 gift card for Best Design and People’s Choice award as the local winners from their school. There were also two Overall County Winners in the same categories who were chosen to receive a $100 gift card. Izzy Haring from McGarity Elementary was awarded Overall Best Design, chosen by Croft & Associates. Rylin Decker from Roberts Elementary was awarded Overall People’s Choice, chosen by the community vote from displays at the Paulding County Courthouse. We plan to make this an annual event to expose our elementary students to future career choices while practicing their employability skills.
