(Paulding County, GA) On 12/22/15 at approximately 11:45 am a female complainant called 911 and stated that several male subjects and a female came to 5439 Villa Rica Highway Dallas, GA 30157 to rob the occupants of the residence. The female complainant further stated that the males and the female were armed with rifles and that they were holding the residents hostage.

When Deputies arrived on scene they observed several people inside the residence through the window. Since there was a report of weapons being involved, Deputies attempted to get the residents to exit the home by calling them out with a PA speaker. After a while, since Deputies got no response from the house combined with the fact that there were supposed to be weapons inside, the SWAT team was called in with the Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT). After CNT arrived on scene they continued to try and get the occupants of the residence to come outside. Finally, after persistent encouragment, the occupants came out of the residence one by one. Once the occupants came out of the residence it was discovered that there was a 7 month old male juvenile and an 8 year old male juvenile inside the residence with the occupants. When Detectives got the occupants of the residence back to the Sheriff’s Office to speak with them about the incident, they had trouble getting a clear understanding of what actually occurred. After they spoke with the occupants of the residence it was determined that a male subject did come in and attempt to rob the residents and held them against their will. As a result of the investigation and the lack of cooperation from the people involved, the following individuals were arrested and charged with the following offenses:

This incident is still under investigation and we hope to gain more information as it progresses. It should be noted that all of the juveniles involved in this case have been taken into the custody of DFCS. As of now, this is all of the information that we have to offer.
