Earlier this month, Detective Lenny Carr was recognized by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for his exemplary service to keeping our children safe from online predators. Detective Carr was recognized by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Commander Special Agent in Charge Debbie Garner for his continued cooperation and service to their efforts.
Detective Carr, with the assistance of Paulding County Today TV 23, spearheaded the effort to create a video for parents to learn about the online dangers that your child may be presented with. The video highlights some apps that parents may not know about that your kids are probably using to communicate.
Sheriff Gulledge stated, “Detective Carr has always done an excellent job in helping keep our children safe from online predators, I applaud him for his recent award from the GBI ICAC Task Force”.
