Jason Garland CommOn February 23, 2016 Deputy Jason Garland of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award. Deputy Garland was awarded the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award for his exemplary service to the Uniform Patrol Division of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Garland has been employed with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office for 11 years. As a Deputy, he patrols the county and helps keep our citizens safe and our county free from crime. Deputy Garland is also a Field Training Officer which gives him the opportunity to train new recruits when they graduate basic mandate training. Deputy Garland does an excellent job and is a deserving recipient of this award.
Deputy Garland was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Commissioners along with a “Dinner for Two” Gift Card from Texas Roadhouse. On hand to present the award was: Standing First Row (L-R): Major Clint Morris, Megan Garland (Jason’s Wife), Deputy Jason Garland, Captain Bobby Godsey, and Sheriff Gary Gulledge.
