Paulding County will once again observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday May 5th at the Courthouse Veteran’s Park Amphitheatre. People of all faiths are invited to join others nationwide to pray for the nation. Beginning at noon until 6 p.m. there will be pastors leading in prayer for our elected officials and public safety members, as well as our nation. You can drop in any time during the day. Last year there was an outstanding number, including elected officials that gathered to pray in the amphitheater.The observance of the National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S.
