Representative Howard Maxwell receives Legislative Service Award

ACCG, Georgia’s County Association, recently honored Representative Howard Maxwell, District 17, with a 2015-2016 Legislative Service Award. Todd Edwards, Associate Legislative Director with ACCG, presented Rep. Maxwell with this award at the May 10, 2016, Paulding County Board of Commissioners Meeting. Rep. Maxwell is being honored for his work with HB 217, ACCG’s mutual fund legislation that ensures the association and other local government retirement systems may continue to invest pension assets in mutual funds.
