Upcoming Career Fair to Open Doors for Students

Chattahoochee Technical College is looking to open new doors for current students, alumni and the community by partnering with businesses to offer a career fair at the college’s Paulding Campus, located at 400 Nathan Dean Blvd. in Dallas, on Tuesday, March 7, from noon to 2 p.m.
The event, which will be held in the Paulding Hall inside Building B, is intended to present employers with the opportunity to fill immediate hiring needs while allowing students, both past and present, the chance to gain face-to- face interactions with employers.
“Chattahoochee Technical College is thrilled to be working with these community partners,” said Career Services Specialist Davia Woulard. “The college hosts career fairs every month to encourage our students to develop relationships with recruiters in the community. This is an opportunity for students to interact with successful professionals and open doors to future employment.”CTC College Fair
Because building relationships with community partners is essential in assisting students with gainful employment, Chattahoochee Technical College hosts career fairs every month at one of its eight campus locations. This month, at the Paulding Campus, attendees will have a chance to speak with representatives from Ashton Staffing, Auto Plus Auto Parts & Pep Boys, AutoBell Car Wash, Carter and Sons HVAC, Kids ‘R’ Rids Learning Academy of East Cobb as well as Kids ‘R’ Kids Sprayberry Academy, National Tire & Battery and Swim Atlanta Pool Management.
Current positions available include assistant teachers, clerical, service technicians and other skilled labor jobs.
“Our monthly job fairs are not industry specific; therefore, the job fairs are open to any employers with immediate hiring needs,” said Woulard. “We do screen the employers during the registration process to ensure both the employers and students can benefit from the fair. A lot of these companies have participated with our previous job fairs and we are excited to have them back again.”
