The Tyler Greene & Taylor Grant Foundation Scholarship

The Tyler Greene & Taylor Grant Foundation was established to honor the memory of Tyler Lamar Greene and the unbreakable bond he shared with his sister Taylor. Tyler was attending Summer School at Harvard University when he drowned in the Charles River on July 29, 2016. The Foundation offers scholarships to East Paulding High School seniors in memory and honor of Tyler. The scholarship is awarded to the senior(s) who best demonstrate(s) characteristics similar to Tyler: academic focus, leadership, community service and Christian faith. The Foundation awarded its first scholarship to Autumn Scofield in May 2017. The Foundation’s 2018 recipient is Uchechukwu Nkenke. Uchechukwu is a member of Christ Anglican Church. Her hobbies include soccer and crochet. She will be attending UGA in the Fall and will major in Biochemistry with a minor in Business.
