GHSA Rifle Season Kicks Off

Opening week for High school Rifle season saw lots of the same Covid drama that we have come to expect. Due to Covid-19, Most teams have elected to compete electronically this season, verse traveling to each school and shooting against each other shoulder to shoulder. That said, Hiram actually played Host to North Paulding on 19 Nov, losing to North with a final score of 1119 to 1022. The top shooter for North was Jersey Wilson with a 282 and Hiram’s Top shooter was Tate Kirby with a 273. North is showing a lot of potential this year with an early start like this. South Paulding was forced to postpone due to Covid. Paulding County and Lithia Springs shoot their match virtually with Paulding shooting 1017, but Lithia had a computer issue and will have to hand score their targets and resubmit their score for review.GHSA Rifle800
