The Wolfpack travelled to #10 ranked North Cobb to face a strong Warrior team coming off a near upset of McEachern last week. Both teams came out ready to rumble trading the ball back and forth until #34 for North Cobb breaks one to the Wolfpack two yard line and on the next play the Warrior’s Jay Erwin punched it in making it a 7-0 game at the end of 1.
The Wolfpack began it struggles that carried on the rest of the night. After a short punt, North Cobb marched 60 yards and Quarterback Will Lovett scored from the 1 on a QB sneak making it a 15-0 game. The next possession end when Chad Terrell seemed to be down for the Pack but Hunter Parrish came away from the pile with the ball and another Warrior TD. North Paulding fumbles a second time and once again North Cobb capitalized with a field goal making it a 25-0 game. The Wolfpack was able to get on the board as #91, Gravely hit a 37 yard field goal and that was the score at halftime.
North Cobb didn’t waste any time as they marched 75 yards to score once again as Christian Singleton ran it in from the 18 yard line. The Warriors seemed to score at will during the entire game putting another 7 on the board when Lovett connected on a 20 yard pass to Erwin ending the third quarter with a score of 39-3.
North Paulding was able score again in the fourth Quarter as #34 Benton took it in from the 7. Wolfpack didn’t show up and took the Region Loss 42-10.
North Paulding must travel again next week to #5 ranked McEachern and other region game.
