Three Paulding County Graduates Playing for Reinhardt
Three graduates from Paulding County high schools who are all playing football for the Reinhardt University Eagles in Waleska, GA. The Reinhardt Eagles were ranked #3 and were 13-0 in their fourth season heading into the NAIA semi-final game against the last team that had defeated them a year ago, the St. Francis Cougars from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Cougars ended up with the win over the Eagles at the end of regulation by a score of 42-24 after the Eagles struggled with penalties and turnovers. The Cougars will go on to the finals in Daytona Beach, Florida on December 17 th against the #2 ranked Baker Wildcats of Baldwin City, Kansas.
