Hiram High School Hosts Rifle Tournament

Hiram High School Played host to North, South and Douglas County on Saturday 14 January for a around robin rifle tournament. Competition was fierce, with quite a few of the matches being separated by only a few points. The teams competed for almost 5 Hours, with Douglas County coming away the big winner of the day. Douglas County’s Ms. Baumgartner shooting a 275 and Mr. Greene Shooting a 272 were their top shooters of the day. South Paulding took second in the tournament, with Mr. Bowling shooting a 264. Mr. Higdon from North Paulding was there high shooter of the day, shooting a 261 and Mr. Lahaie from Hiram was their top shooter, with a 256. At the end of competition, the athletes were treated to lunch by Happy Hawg BBQ here in Hiram Georgia. Thank you Happy Hawg and Thank you shooters for a great day of competition!
