Partiots Fall In Shootout With Longhorns 58-46
The Paulding County Patriots took to the road for the 1st time this season. The schedule found them traveling to Marietta to face a group of angry Longhorns that were winless on the the season.
If offense is what a fan likes this was the game to see. After a scoreless 1st quarter the flood gates opened and the remaining 3 quarters saw 104 points put on the scoreboard. The Patriots were a 22 point underdog and they gave the Longhorns all they wanted until the very end putting up almost 500 yards of total offense against a good team. The offense of the Patriots executed on a level not seen thus far this season. It doesn't get any easier as the Patriots are 1-3(1-1) will host the #1 ranked Rome Wolves and defending state champions next at Dave Hardin Stadium.





Brantley Mauldin aired it out against Kell. Mauldin was 17-20 for 349 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Wideout Tyrone Summerour turns it on dashing for one of his 2 touchdowns.
Patriot Lorenzo Euline hands the referee the ball after intercepting a pass in his end zone in the 1st quarter. Euline also scored a rushing touchdown and has 4 interceptions on the season.
