Lady Patriots Close Out Season

The Paulding County Lady Patriots soccer team closed out their season on the pitch last week with a 3-1 loss to Sandy Creek in a non-region affair. The defending region 5 5-A champions lost 8 Seniors from last years squad and this season was a rebuilding process as the Patriots were 3-5 in region play. Many freshmen contributed to this years squad and the Patriots were competitive and showed resolve to trust the process, The Patriots only lose 4 Seniors on this year's squad and will return 8 juniors that have much experience and should be a force next season Coach Matt Putman is cautiously optimistic about the prospects of the 2019 season.
