Wolfpack topped Spartan 4-1
The North Paulding Wolfpack traveled to Spartan country and downed the Spartans 4-1 in a non-region match-up last week. Both squads are having good seasons thus far and are likely to be playoff bound at seasons end. South Paulding is 4-0 and tied for first place in their region. North Paulding is currently 4-1 in region play and that loss was a 1-0 duel against region leader Hillgrove. The Spartans clash against Douglas County this week and the Pack face McEachern on the diamond. The East Paulding Raiders are still rolling and are hoping to extend their winning streak to 7 games as they face off against a good Woodland squad and also Villa Rica and Rome this week. They are currently in 2nd place just one game behind region leader Carrollton.

North Paulding's Haylee Folds shut down the Spartan offense limiting them to just one run while striking out 11.
Wolfpack shortstop Hannah McGill is ready to defend her position.
Spartan Lexy Hopper came on in relief for South Paulding pitching a scoreless 7th inning.
Spartan Kiera Cooper plated the lone score for South with an RBI double.
