KSU LEAD BY PAULDING PLAYERS

Kennesaw state played their last regular season home game against the visiting Campbell Camels this past Saturday at 5th / 3rd bank stadium with a dominating win 49-0. The Owls offense was led by South Paulding’s own Chandler Burks. With 3 rushing TD’s in the game, Chandler Burk’s broke the FCS record for the most rushing TD’s by a quarterback in a career. Burk’s also has the most rushing TD’s by any FCS and FBS players this year with 22 rushing TD’s.
The Defense was led by North Paulding Wolfpack, Jace White at FS for the Owls. Jace has been a commanding force for the Owls helping the Owls outscore their opponents 424 to 97. Jace has 1 interception on the year against Clark Atlanta returning it for a TD, 2 tackles for losses against Gardner-Webb, and 7 tackles against Georgia state just to name a few of his accomplishments for the year.
Burk’s and White are part of the O.G.(original gangsters) for the owls and will be missed by the Owls in the coming years. Burk’s and White have represented Paulding county well at the collegiate level and hope to see more players from Paulding at the next level in the near future.
