Lady Patriots Claim Playoff

The Paulding County Lady Patriots claimed the 4th seed in the tough region 7(5A) with a hard-fought 2 nil victory over the Hiram Hornets to close out region play. The Lady Patriots will travel to the Region 6 champions pitch to play the opening round of the state playoffs. The Lady Patriots finished the region with a 5-3 mark and punched their ticket with a key victory over Rome High School which garnered the #2 seed in the region. The team they will face was yet to be determined at press time. Good luck to the Lady Patriots and congratulations to coaches Matt Puttman and Len Walters and the girls on a successful 2019 campaign.

The Hornets played the Patriots tough on their home turf.
