WellStar Foundation 5th Annual Clay Shoot Advances Healthcare in Local Communities
MARIETTA, Ga. (November 8, 2017) – Supporters of the WellStar Foundation raised funds for cutting-edge emergency resources in local communities serviced by WellStar Health System. The Foundation’s 5th annual Clay Shoot at Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club raised more than $100,000 in October. The dollars raised for the not-for-profit Health System will advance emergency and trauma services for patients who visit WellStar, the largest provider of emergency health services in Georgia.
“As always, this year’s Clay Shoot was another fun-filled day of friendly competition and some of the most scenic views Georgia has to offer,” said Lisa Mello, WellStar Foundation development director. “What really made this year’s event stand out was that every dollar donated went toward life-saving emergency and trauma services across WellStar Health System. I am so thankful to our corporate sponsors for supporting this critical initiative.”
GreyStone Power Corporation supported the event as Station Sponsor. Ammo Sponsors included Adventure Outdoors; Avectus Healthcare Solutions, Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors; Knox Electrical Contractors, Inc; LoRusso Law Firm PC; and S.A. White Oil Company.
