Upon admission to the hospital, patients receive a touchscreen tablet where they can view test results, medications, labs, vital signs and daily treatment schedules. Currently in pilot phase at Paulding Hospital, MyChart Bedside will be available across WellStar’s Epic-based hospitals by May 2017.
Patients are often able to schedule surgeries quickly at WellStar Paulding Hospital. The hospital’s general surgeons typically perform laparoscopic surgeries, meaning they are minimally invasive with small incisions.
WellStar Paulding Hospital now offers complimentary golf cart shuttle service for hospital visitors, patients and team members. The shuttles are made possible by donations to the WellStar Foundation from Vic Williams Tire & Auto and Ragsdale Heating, Air and Plumbing of Dallas, Ga.
