Congratulations to Bennett Morrison! We’re excited to share that Bennett Morrison has been selected as the recipient of the 14th annual Zachary Williamson Memorial Scholarship. A recent graduate of North Paulding High School’s Class of 2025, Bennett truly stands out as a student-athlete who reflects the values this scholarship was created to honor.
The Zachary Williamson Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Zachary Williamson, who tragically passed away in a car accident on August 14, 2010. Zach was a proud member of the North Paulding football and wrestling teams, and his passion for sports, school, and friendship continues to inspire. His parents, Mark and René Williamson, created the scholarship to recognize student-athletes who embody strong character, academic excellence, dedication to their sport, and integrity both on and off the field. This year’s recipient, Bennett, checks all those boxes and more. He’s shown incredible dedication, leadership, and heart throughout his time at North Paulding—especially on the Lacrosse field. He’s been named MVP on the 2024 Georgia High School All-Star team and has earned multiple accolades for his performance.
Bennett will begin his next chapter at Reinhardt University this fall, where he’ll study Sports Medicine and continue his athletic journey on the Lacrosse team. We’re honored to support him and excited to see all he’ll achieve—in the classroom, on the field, and throughout the community. We wish you all the best Bennett! Congratulations!
