American Legion to Celebrate 242nd Marine Corps Birthday

The Entertainment Committee of American Legion Post 111 at 2587 Scoggins Road, in Dallas, GA, cordially invites the public, service members, veterans of all branches, Legion Family members, and their invited guests to celebrate the 242nd birthday of the United States Marine Corps on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Starting at 6:00 PM, there will be a social hour in the Bingo Hall with hors-d'oeuvres followed by a program at 7:00 PM, including a fallen comrade table and cake cutting ceremony. The keynote speaker will be Mr. James Foy, veteran, USMC.
Suggested dress code is “Sunday Best.” Military personnel and veterans of all branches are encouraged to wear their uniform.
