Ivy Brook Drive Homicide Arrest Made

(Paulding County, GA) On Thursday August 24, 2017 at approximately 12:34 PM Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and Deputy Marshals with the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force took Darnell Isaiah Priester (B/M, 16 YOA) into custody at his mother’s residence which is located at 5361 Brickelberry Way Douglasville, GA 30134 (Douglas County) without incident.
Priester was arrested on warrants that the Dallas Police Department secured in reference to the homicide that took place on Friday August 18, 2017 at 117 Ivy Brook Drive Dallas, GA (Paulding County). During that incident, 18 year old Tommy Robinson was fatally shot and killed and 18 year old Timothy Nelson was shot in the leg and is recovering.
Although Priester is a juvenile (16 YOA), he has been charged as an adult and will be housed at the Rome Youth Detention Center where he is being held without bond. Priester has been charged with the following offenses by the Dallas Police Department:

1. Felony Murder (F) 1 count
2. Aggravated Assault (F) 4 counts
3. Aggravated Battery (F) 1 count
