State Tourism Product Development Team Report for Paulding
(Paulding County, GA) The State of Georgia’s Tourism Product Development Team (TPD) delivered its tourism potential report for Paulding County during a public meeting held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the Dallas Civic Center. This was a follow up to their three days, in-depth, analysis reconnaissance and strategy visit to 36 unique to Paulding sites this past July. After evaluating our community’s past, present and potential for tourism growth, the team shared their recommendations for existing product enhancements and ideas for future product development using innovative, unique local experiences and marketing of new events and attractions in the community. Incorporating strategic partnerships and planning that develop packaging and marketing will capitalize on the many distinctive assets Paulding has in place. The goal is to give new life to existing resources and foster new tourism products in hopes of creating new opportunities/markets for Paulding tourism. Support from the TPD Team does not end with the community presentation of recommendations. The team will continue to work with Paulding on product development projects and our Regional Tourism Project Manager will stay involved to help guide Paulding through the tourism development process. Copies of the Community Report are available at the Chamber of Commerce located at 455 Jimmy Campbell Pkwy.
