Archery6Congratulations to the Paulding 4-H Archery Team for competing in the 2025 State Outdoor Archery Match at Rock Eagle 4-H Center on May 2-3, 2025. Georgia 4-H Project SAFE uses shooting sports to teach many valuable life skills. Project SAFE (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) provides youth a place to develop a sense of belonging, learn teamwork in a safe environment and increase concentration skills.
Over 700 statewide archers participated in the following divisions: Cloverleaf Novice, Cloverleaf Recurve, Cloverleaf Compound, Junior Recurve, Junior Compound, Senior Recurve and Senior Compound. The Cloverleaf division consists of 4 th -5 th graders, the Junior division includes 6 th -8 th graders, and Senior division is for 9 th -12 th graders.
The following Paulding County 4-H Archery Team members competed at the event: Bailey Blakeney, Kylan Ferguson, Sarah Gill, Amelia Glinsboeckel, Adalynn Jaacks, Colin Jaacks, Alex King, Max King, Greyson McClain, Sevaeh Mewborn, Renae Murphy, Andrew Norton, Arlen Owens, Ava Pruitt, Phoenix Shouse, Jed Shumoski, Signe Shumoski, Dani Thomason, Rylan Trammer, Ailyn Ward, Natalie Weaver, Hadley Welch, John White, and Vance Woodward.
Congratulation to the following archers for placing 3 rd in the Cloverleaf Recurve team category: Adalynn Jaacks, John White, Arlen Owens, and Andrew Norton. Congratulations to the entire Team for a successful State Match and for proudly representing Paulding County 4-H.
