4h shoot 01nCongratulations to the Paulding 4-H Shotgun Team for competing in the 2025 GA Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays Match at the Forest City Gun Club in Savannah on May 24-25, 2025.
Georgia 4-H Project SAFE uses shooting sports to teach many valuable life skills. Project SAFE (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) provides youth a place to develop a sense of belonging, learn teamwork in a safe environment and increase concentration skills.
Nearly 250 4-H’ers, from 25 counties, participated in either the Junior or Senior division in the following categories: Trap Individual, Skeet Individual, Sporting Clays Individual, and Team category.
The following Paulding County 4-H Shotgun Team members competed at the event: Jesse Altman, Kayce Busby, Anna Belle Cargile, Jacob Fields, Jackson Graham, Renner Hansman, Asher Henson, Breck Henson, Riley Hutcheson, Jake Ingram, Jesse Ingram, Rylee McClellan, Xavier Mendes, Olivia Nalls, Nate Pettigrew, Olivia Phillips, Jackson Price, Kael Ratliff, Maddox Wall, Mason Wall, and Emmit White.
The entire team excelled and represented Paulding County 4-H in a superior manner, and here are some of their accomplishments: Xavier Mendes placed 8th in Junior Skeet, Jesse Ingram placed 2nd in Senior Skeet, Nate Pettigrew placed 7th in Senior Trap, Kayce Busby placed 9th in Senior Skeet, and the Senior Team of Maddox Wall, Renner Hansman, Nate Pettigrew, and Mason Wall placed 5th in Senior Team. Way to Go!
