Public Safety Night Kourt and MayOn September 12, 2025, East Paulding High School’s Principal Mr. Brad Thomason and Athletic Director Mr. Gene Reynolds welcomed everyone to the Raider Football game at the Boneyard. This night was designated as EPHS Public Safety Night where the Raider Family thanked all Paulding County Public Safety men and women that serve and protect our county each and every day.
In attendance were representatives from these areas of Public Safety: From the Paulding County School District Safety Team: School Safety Officer Andy Allen, School Safety Officer Kendrick Scott, Safety Coordinator Rich Heintz, Safety Coordinator Andrew Thompson, and Safety Coordinator Seth Ulsh. From Paulding County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff Ashley Henson, Chief Billy Hurst, Major Donnie Pace, Sergeant Tyler Brown, Deputy Kelly Adams, Digital Communications Specialist Jeff Harkins, and Administrative Assistant to Sheriff Henson, Felicia Harkins. From Paulding Fire: Division Chief Jeff Groom, Battalion Chief Tim Wilson, Captain David Parson, Lieutenant Spencer West, Firefighter Hunter Rakestraw, Firefighter Eric Westbrooks, and Firefighter Jackson Evans. From Dallas Police Department: Lieutenant Weaver, Sergeant Stager, Corporal Love, and Officer Fitzpatrick. From Georgia State Patrol: Corporal Kemonte Figures and Trooper First Class Figueroa. From Paulding County Marshal Bureau: Lieutenant Brian Smith, Corporal Rick Mahan, Deputy Leslie Ashworth, and Deputy Scott Terrill. From MetroAtlanta Ambulance: Paramedic/Field Supervisor Michael Green and EMT Elana Pope. In addition, EPHS’s Principal Mr. Brad Thomason, EPHS’s Varsity Cheerleaders, EPHS DECA Officers Mady Thomason, Addi Geiger, Ava Freedman, Betsy Gramajo and DECA Members Mayleigh Ervin and Kourtlee Ervin.
East Paulding High School presented each area of Public Safety a plaque as a small token of appreciation for their service to Paulding County. On behalf of all Paulding County Public Safety Officials, Sheriff Ashley Henson was presented a football signed by Head Coach Van Spence, the East Paulding Raiders, and the coaching staff. EPHS also presented a football to Pam Sullins, owner of Big Doug’s Place, to say thank you for donating the pregame meal for the First Responders.Public safety night 2025
