ROME, Ga. -- On Wednesday, conservative businessman and community leader Brian Stover announced his campaign for Congress in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, pledging to support President Trump and bring serious, results-focused leadership back to Washington.
A Georgia native, job creator, and longtime community advocate, Stover said he is entering the race because northwest Georgia deserves a representative who will work with President Trump and stay focused on delivering real results for families.
“I’m running for Congress because the hardworking families of northwest Georgia deserve a representative who is focused on them,” Stover said. “We need a leader who supports President Trump, shows up, listens, and gets the job done. Washington has enough circus acts. It’s time for serious leadership that delivers results.”
Stover started his trash business out of the back of his pickup truck at age 19 and has spent his career building it through grit, determination, and years of hard work. Today, the company provides essential services and good-paying jobs for families across Paulding County and surrounding communities. As an employer, Stover says he has seen firsthand how rising costs make it harder for working families to get ahead.
“I’ve seen firsthand how rising costs for health insurance, housing, fuel, and groceries are affecting working families,” Stover said. “That’s what pushed me to step forward. Democrats gave us an affordability crisis, and President Trump is focused on lowering costs, eliminating waste, securing the border, and putting American workers first. I’ve been getting rid of trash my entire career, and I’m ready to help clean up Washington.”
Stover’s campaign priorities include:

• • Securing the southern border and ending the illegal immigration crisis.
• • Supporting law enforcement, holding drug traffickers accountable, and restoring public safety.
• • Standing up for parents, protecting children, and keeping boys out of girls’ sports and locker rooms.
• • Ending reckless federal spending and protecting faith, freedom, and the Constitution.
• • Stover emphasized that northwest Georgia needs a representative who strengthens the district’s influence in Congress by focusing on results, not performative outrage.
